Job Description Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Payne Brownsville. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles according to dealership and manufacturer standards. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an automotive technology program or equivalent work experience - ASE certification is a plus - Strong mechanical and technical skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Excellent attention to detail - Effective communication skills Responsibilities: - Perform maintenance and repair work on vehicles - Diagnose issues accurately and efficiently - Complete work orders and documentation in a timely manner - Communicate with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle repairs - Keep abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins - Maintain a clean and organized work environment Benefits: - Competitive salary - Health, dental, and vision insurance - Paid time off - Training and development opportunities Must be at least 21 years of age Must have a valid driver's license for at least 3 consecutive years Must have or be able to get a Texas driver's license Must have a clean driving record
