Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare, a leader in home healthcare services, is
looking for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse
(LVN) to join our team in a part-time capacity during day shifts.
This role is crucial for ensuring the health and wellness of our
patients in the comfort of their own homes across various
locations. As a Private Duty Nurse at Aveanna Healthcare, you will
work one-on-one with pediatric and adult patients, delivering
high-quality nursing care and interacting directly with patients
and their families. This position is an excellent opportunity for a
nurse seeking to make a significant impact on the lives of
individuals requiring attentive, personalized healthcare. Provide
skilled nursing care to pediatric and adult patients in a home
setting. Assess patients' conditions during every visit and chart
your observations. Perform evaluation tasks, including vital signs
and medication review. Administer medications, wound care, and
numerous other personalized interventions. Direct communication
with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure a
cohesive care plan. Educate patients and their families on proper
home health care strategies and procedures. Strong interpersonal
and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and
families. Ability to work independently without continuous
supervision. Proficient in maintaining accurate patient records and
documenting care provided. Skilled in performing clinical tasks
including wound care, medication administration, and patient
evaluation. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance Current LVN license in the state of employment.
Valid CPR certification. Must have valid driver’s license and
reliable transportation.
