CDL A Truck Drivers OTR & Regional Heavy Haul
Job description:
Valfair Construction Inc. has an open position for a Heavy Haul
Truck Driver. Our company driver's primary focus is to
transport/deliver heavy excavation equipment safely and effectively
to various jobs throughout out the Southeast portion of the US. The
right individual would have experience with oversize/over
dimensional haul trucking, load securement/tie down, following
permitted routes, always implements safe driving principles and
practices, executes safety in all loading and unloading maneuvers
Experience in using different types of trailers, including RGN,
Step-Desk, Flatbed & Lowboy trailers. Additionally, drivers would
need to have proper endorsements and licensed to drive standard
transmission trucks over the road and out of state. Average time
spent over the road is 3 weeks, with 1 week of home time. While we
are a Texas based company, candidates from outside of Texas are
welcome to apply as we are able to accommodate those individuals,
especially in the lower southern portion of the US. We do not
however pay for relocation.
Requirements:
Valfair Construction Inc. is a Texas based division of a major
corporation. Our job is to service and facilitate the needs of our
ownership, therefore we are not subject to highs and lows of
available work.
