  Role Mission: As a Landscape Install Technician at Rhodes, you will be responsible for installing irrigation, sod and plant material for our construction projects. You are part of the Property & Customer Care Team and will have an exciting opportunity to support the accomplishment of our organizational purpose to create beautifully engaging communities.
  
  Accountabilities:
  
  • Preparing construction sites for landscape installs
  • Assisting crew in installing irrigation systems
  • Assisting crew in installing Sod, Trees and other plant material
  • Operate and provide maintenance to department and company equipment and machinery, hand tools and power tools as necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned

        Qualifications:
        
        • High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent
        • 1+ year irrigation/landscape install or related experience
        • Valid driver's license preferred but not required
        • Free from allergies that interfere with grounds keeping duties
        • Available to work overtime
          Knowledge and Skills:
          
          • Proficient in using manual and power tools safely
          • Able to operate landscaping equipment such as lawn mower, weed eater, leaf blower, shovel etc.
          • Ability to follow instructions
          • Proficient communication skills and ability to maintain logs and document activity
          • Physically agile and dexterous

            • Non-exempt
              Physical Demands:
              
              • Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling object(s) weighing up to 75 pounds. Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching. Repeated bending.
