Job DescriptionValue Added Service RepresentativeAbout CESCustomer Engineering Services, LLC (CES) is a provider of Technical Services. We provide product installation, preventative maintenance, on-site repairs, and helpdesk services for clients with inventory throughout the U.S. We currently have a career opportunity for a Value Added Service Representative who is technically savvy, has a passion for learning new things and can provide excellent customer service. This position is located in the McAllen, TXarea.The Value-Added Service Representative is an entry-level, field service position that is critical to our business. They will provide support on multiple projects with a focus on merchandising, sales & marketing support, equipment exchange, customer training, product and site aesthetics, and project-related services. We count on our team to provide quality services to all CES customers.You will have the opportunity to join a team of service representatives who provide best in class levels of customer service by:Traveling to multiple customer locations on a daily basisInteracting with customers employees, their management personnel and their customers dailyAdhering to program directives as communicated by the client and managementScheduling customer visits ensuring that projects and visit goals are completed timelyProviding Sales and Marketing Support to customerProviding customer training as requiredPerforming basic equipment troubleshooting and software installation, removal, product and site aesthetics/cleaning, and project-related activitiesEvaluating equipment conditionConducting site surveys and auditsUtilizing a phone application ticketing system to record daily activitiesInteracting and working with internal field representativesMaintaining a professional appearance based on Company policyRequirementsThe successful candidate will have the following qualifications:Prior experience in retail, merchandising, field service, or customer service preferredThe ability to relate to customers in a professional and courteous mannerExcellent written, verbal and listening skillsExcellent time-management skillsAbility to perform timely and accurate reportingHave a valid drivers license and proper documentation to travel when applicableA motor vehicle record in good standingA dependable vehicle with the ability to travel extensively (occasional overnight stays)Possess basic computer, mobile device, and web-based applications skillsTechnical aptitudeThe ability to maintain excellent attendance and adherence to assigned work schedulesThe ability to lift up to 50lbs several times during the dayMust have High School diploma or general education degree (GED)BenefitsBenefits and Perks:Company Cell Phone Associated topics: agent, answer, call center associate, call center specialist, customer service associate, phone, rep, telephone, telephone service representative, tsr About Customer Engineering Services (CES) About Customer Engineering Services (CES)
