high-quality care. Patient Volume: 10,000 Specialties: Lab services
and imaging (CT and x-ray) Coverage Model: Physicians work 7a-7p
and 7p-7a Number of Beds: 14 beds EMR: Cerner (PowerNote ED) with
Dragon capabilities Qualifications Education: MD/DO with a
three-year residency Board Certification: ABEM/ABOEM or ABIM/ABFM
with emergency medicine experience. Experience: Emergency Medicine
residency or 1 years of emergency medicine experience as an MD or
DO. Badges: ABFM and ABIM physicians would be required to obtain
and maintain ATLS, BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP (all need to be
obtained through American Heart Association). Facility & Clinical

Health System ER Pharr, is a 14-bed free-standing emergency
department open 24/7. There are lab services and imaging on site,
but has the backup and resources of the entire South Texas Health
System. Community Information : A literal stone's throw from the
southern border, Pharr is within the McAllen Metro Area, a location
teeming with Mexican culture while offering the amenities of the
US. View flowers, foliage and citrus varieties native to this lush,
subtropical climate, or get up close and personal with area
wildlife. The area offers great schools, affordable living, and low
crime rates. It is all about an hour west of the coast, and 2.5
