Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Texas Start
Date: February 9, 2026 Location: Brownsville, Texas Compensation:
Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts;
4:1 patient ratio; 2 weekends per schedule; no on-call required
Highlights: 22-bed Emergency Department in a high-acuity setting
with a collaborative team of 55 staff members Diverse case mix
including trauma, cardiac alerts (STEMI), stroke, sepsis, and
behavioral health patients Meditech EMR system for streamlined
documentation and care coordination Day and night shifts available
with structured staffing model including charge nurse support
Opportunity to utilize advanced skills including moderate sedation,
rapid sequence intubation support, and code response Multiple
positions available (3 openings) Requirements: Minimum 5 years of
recent Emergency Department experience in a high-acuity setting
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (TNCC, ENPC,
and CPI also required) Strong triage and critical thinking skills
with ESI guideline knowledge Trauma and cardiac alert experience
preferred, including care of STEMI, stroke, and sepsis patients
Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred Bilingual
(English/Spanish) preferred but not required Active RN license or
