Surgical Tech Location: Harlingen, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,719 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Surgical Technologist Profession: OR Surgical Tech Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 1300-2130 Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Not specified Certifications: Certified Surgical Technician Must-Have: Aseptic technique, equipment setup, instrumentation, understanding of surgical procedures Description: The Surgical Technologist is responsible for maintaining aseptic technique in the operating room. They set up the required equipment, instrumentation, and sterile supplies needed for their assigned cases. The role involves scrubbing and passing instruments and equipment during surgical procedures. They may assist in pulling cases as needed and breaking down cases at the end of the procedure. The Surgical Technologist prepares the operating room and supplies for the day's or following day's schedule.
