Qualifications As the Special Procedures Technician, you will
assist physicians with evaluating patients. You will record
patients' vital signs, medication incompatibilities and allergies
and also keep an eye on patients to alert doctors about any special
needs or potential risks regarding treatment or radiation doses. We

Do In This Role: - Demonstrates competency in radiation protection
to the patient and staff in accordance with prescribed safety
standards - Demonstrates proper procedure in contrast injection. -
Demonstrates proper procedure for PICC line insertions / removal. -
Demonstrates competency in proper special lab technique and set up.

Angiographic Protocols C) Digital Imaging D) Vascular
Interventional Procedures E) Image Production F) Catheters, guide
wires, needles G) Patient Education H) Informed Consent I) Patient
Assessment / Monitoring J) Medications K) Sterile Technique. What
Qualifications You Will Need: - Graduate from an accredited school
of Radiological Technology with an Associate’s degree or equivalent
is required. - Must be A.R.R.T. (R.T.) or registry eligible. If
registry eligible, must pass registry within one year of start date
for continued employment. - Current certification with the Texas
Department of Health (CMRT) is required. - One year experience in
interventional neurovascular and/or invasive cardiology or a
combination of Allied Health Certificate and work experience - BCLS
