Description:Job Title: Pre Operative, Post Operative, and Operating Room Registered NurseWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pre Operative, Post Operative, and Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. Responsibilities:- Assessing patients' medical histories and current health status to determine their eligibility for surgery- Preparing patients for surgery by explaining the procedure, answering questions, and ensuring they are comfortable- Administering medications and anesthesia as directed by the anesthesiologist- Monitoring patients' vital signs and responding to any changes or complications during surgery- Assisting the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments, sponges, and other supplies- Providing post-operative care, including monitoring patients' recovery, administering medications, and changing dressings- Educating patients and their families on post-operative care and answering any questions they may haveRequirements:- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pre-operative, post-operative, and operating room nursing- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient care- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment- Attention to detail and ability to multitask- BLS, PALS and ACLS certificationIf you are a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with experience in pre-operative, post-operative, and operating room nursing, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
