Job Description:

Registered NurseHealthcare support in either California, Arizona, or Texas.

* Preliminary screening
* Controls flow of patients into the clinic
* Ensures mask is worn
* Takes patient temperatures
* Verifies appointment times
* Provides EUA to patients
* Verify identify with name and DOB
* Explains procedure and answers patient questions
* Performs injection with pre-drawn syringe
* Documents vaccine administration in Uvax
* Completes CDC vaccination card
* Communicates issues with team lead
* Reviews screening form and answers patient questions about the vaccine
* Counsels flagged patients about vaccination risks
* Designates patients needing 30-minute observation and marks with red band or sticker, etc
* Observes patients for designated time period
* Identifies and responds to patients with adverse reactions
* Treats anaphylaxis with epinephrine and notifies 9-1-1
* Completes Adverse Event log and VAERS reports
* Monitors refrigerator for temperature excursion
* Thaws vials of vaccine if needed
* Draws up vaccine
* Keeps tally of empty vials, wasted doses, and over/under filled vials
* Maintains Vial Tracker and Wasted Dose Tracker
* Bags syringes and empty vial as a batch into a clear bag and places it in plastic bin
* Marks clear bag with the time the vial was opened
* Communicates with team lead about clinic flow and estimates rate of syringe preparation
* Refrains from drawing too many syringes that would risk wasted doses
* Conducts vial/dose count with team lead at the end of clinic
* Must be local to city listed in location.
* Must be able to pass a background check and drug tests.
* Possesses active RN license, and active BLS certification.
* Must be fully COVID Vaccinated.
