Registered Nurse Freestanding Emergency RoomImmediate need for a talented Registered Nurse Freestanding Emergency Room / Registered Nurse / FSED Nurse / ER Nurse / Emergency Room Nurse. Pay Range: $28.94/hr to $43.41/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

* You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for assigned patients presented to the Emergency Room.
* You will be responsible for meeting the Standards of Practice for the Emergency Department and managing all assigned personnel, supplies and equipment.
* You will participate in activities to plan, measure, assess and improve the quality of patient care.
* You will routinely provide triage assessment for patients presenting for treatment.
* Will will provide intervention in emergency, life-threatening situations.
* You will assume the responsibility of charging the department, as needed.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

* Someone who has previous FSED experience . At least 6 months of recent ED experience.
* Candidates have to understand the difference in resource availability between a main ED and an FSED.
* Must be a team player and willingly to help out with every patient.
* Must be an experienced RN who is comfortable with triage, coordinating transfers out, STEMI, Sepsis, Stroke, and Trauma patients.
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
* NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
* Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
* Registered Nurse Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree.
* Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course, or PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
* Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR, or CPR for Healthcare Providers, or Heart Saver CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
