Registered Nurse (RN) Outpatient Surgery Center PRN at Rio OP
Surgery Center to ensure that we continue to provide all patients
with high quality, efficient care. We are an amazing team that

We want you to apply now!What You Will Do In Your Role:
- You will assume the responsibility of team leader utilizing the
nursing process in planning, executing, and evaluating the nursing
care given to the patient during the perioperative period.
- You will apply knowledge of the principles of growth and
development over the life span to identify patient and family
requirements relative to age specific needs.
- You will have knowledge of perioperative nursing according to
AORN Guidelines for PeriOperative Practice, ASPAN PeriAnesthesia
Nursing Standards and hospital and departmental
policies/procedures.
- You will have the ability to problem solve, apply technical
skills, communicate clearly (written and verbally) and function
collaboratively to provide direct perioperative care.What
qualifications you will need:
- Associate Degree in Nursing is required. BSN is preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or
Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are
required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire
date).
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification is
required.
- ACLS and PALS are required within 6 months of hire.
- CNOR is preferred.
- 1 year of critical care or perioperative experience preferred.
