Rio Grande Regional Hospital - McAllen, TX Mammography Technologist Founded in 1982, Rio Grande Regional Hospital (RGRH), an HCA-affiliated facility, is proud of maintaining its status as one of the leading healthcare providers in the Rio Grande Valley. With 320 beds and a team of more than 500 physicians representing over 35 specialties, we offer a range of inpatient and outpatient services. What you will do in this role: 1. Performs one, or a combination of, exams at the highest technical quality producing mammograms/images for diagnosis.2. Identify/assess patients in relation to the imaging study ordered.3. Follow radiation safety standards for self, patient and staff4. Use documentation systems to ensure the continuum of care:

• Meditech
• Medical record
• Mammogram software QualificationsEducation:

• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiology
• Completed advance training in mammography What qualifications you will need:
  • ARRT (CT); Texas Medical Board licensure required.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification required.
