Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit

What you will do in this role:
- Use therapeutic communication in daily practice
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic Telemetry environment
- Implement and direct care, using the nursing process with
emphasis on the needs of individual Telemetry patients
- Provide emotional support of the patient and significant others
to make informed choices regarding health care
- Participate in cardiovascular department specific initiatives and
- Promote a supportive Telemetry environment
- Provide supervision of new employees, patient care assistant,
vocational nurses, nurse technicians, student nurses and/or nurse
- Maintain high quality (age specific) care for adolescent, adult
and geriatric patients as assigned
Qualifications What qualifications you will need:
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing- Current
license by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas-
Current Licensure by the State of Texas- Current CPR
certification,- ACLS required or within a minimum of one year
employment.- Experience with cardiovascular/telemetry patients,
