JOB SUMMARY
Serves as primary relationship manager and advisor for affluent and high net worth individual (HNWI) clients and is responsible for developing and deepening client relationships through: a high level of client service; personal networking (internal and external) and business development efforts; and, through delivery of the bank's credit and deposit solutions. Coordinates the overall client strategy in close partnership with other professionals on the team to meet the investment, trust, risk management, and planning needs of clients. With the exception of credit and deposit solutions, relies heavily on teammates for development of advice and implementation of solutions. Thrives in a team based approach to deliver the full suite of wealth management solutions to client.
Relies on the LSNB retail network to help generate client acquisition. Primarily connected to retail LOB partners. Also focused on targeted prospecting and developing relationships with external referral sources such as existing clients, trust attorneys and tax accountants. Generates significant fee income revenue through non-traditional banking products such as trust services, insurance and asset management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Provides clients with exceptional customer care and attention
  • Strives to exceed client expectations with regard to service, product knowledge, financial advice and attention to detail
  • Sources new credit opportunities and maintains strong asset quality through proper underwriting, loan monitoring and surveillance
  • Sources new deposit opportunities by calling existing clients, new prospects and networking with appropriate Centers of Influence
  • Increases fee income revenue through appropriate sells of trust services, insurance products, brokerage services and asset management capabilities of the organization
  • Acquires and/or maintains all proper licenses and continuing education requirements needed to offer non-traditional banking solutions
  • Participates in job specific training and other various Bank training programs, as necessary
  • Maintains current knowledge of internal risk controls and loss prevention, including reporting of suspicious or unusual customer activity per Bank policy
  • Maintains current knowledge and complies with all federal and state laws and regulations and all established Bank policies and procedures, including internal audit controls related to department operations
  • Maintains current knowledge of all rules, regulations, and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AML
    QUALIFICATIONS

    These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the position in a satisfactory manner. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines.

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Series 7, 63 and 66 licenses, and Group 1 – Life, Accident and Health license
    • CFP or Certified Wealth Strategist® (or equivalent) is preferred
    • Ability to create and maintain deep levels of trust, confidence and credibility with clients and their multi-generational family members
    • Self-motivated and passionate about serving clients and helping individuals reach their financial goals and objectives
    • Basic credit and financial analysis skills
    • Thorough knowledge of LSNB products, as well as insurance and investment product alternatives
    • Effective communication skills and ability to effectively identify and match client needs, wants and desires with possible solutions
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish
