Director of Business Operations (Insurance) Cuellar & Associates, LLC is a Financial Services brokerage that offers the highest levels of customization and client servicing. We truly care about your success and will provide training, mentorship, technology, and the opportunity to grow.-- POSITION SUMMARY:--As the Director of Business Operations in the valley office, you will be responsible for leading and managing the insurance operations. The Director will engage with all levels of the organization staff to understand their strategic business goals and design solutions to meet them. Additionally, the Director will manage the insurance business product lines, Insurance Association vendor relationship, as well as oversee the performance of employees. Generate leads, develop new business, and close sales of all Cuellar & Associates LLC Products and Services. What to Expect:

  • Collaborative and energetic work environment-- Responsibilities:
    • Develop rapport and credibility with potential clients and industry consultants to enhance revenue growth opportunities.
    • Create and respond to potential client's Requests for Proposals along with the development of direct service proposals.
    • Participate in client implementation meetings and prepare new client implementation service guidelines.
    • Develop and facilitate sales presentations.
    • Maintain consistent contact with various levels of the client.
    • Work closely with other internal departments to ensure the coordinated delivery of services to the client.
    • Responsible for hiring, training, and coaching licensed agents and other staff.
    • Create and modify procedures and documents related to insurance products and policies by managing the components for new business.
    • Identify and analyze the risk associated with insurance products and policies.
    • Review insurance product requests from clients and writes product briefs.
    • Engage and assist clients on insurance product procurement and manage policy renewals and audits for all insurance lines.
    • Assist in the structure and development of competitive new insurance products and programs to meet client needs.
    • Work closely with sales, operations, product management, and engineering professionals within the company to ensure that insurance products are available promptly
    • Other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications:
      • History of solution selling business to business with a proven sales record.
      • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, vendors, and employees of the organization.
      • Successfully forge strong relationships.
      • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • 10+ years of related management experience
      • 10+years' experience as an employee in the insurance industry
      • Adjuster and Underwriting experience a PLUS
      • Knowledge of insurance products and basic underwriting principles
      • Travel up to 25% quarterly or as needed Education:
      • Bachelor's degree in a related field (strongly preferred)
      • Required current Life and Health Licenses, Property and Casualty
