Immediate Full-Time Employment Supporting A High Profile
Customer
SOCIAL AND TRANSFERRABLE SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Energetic, Reliable and Dependable
- Two (2) Years of Experience in an Office Setting with
Substantial Customer Service Interface with the Public within the
last Five (5) years
- Sufficient Knowledge of Office Automation Software and be
Familiar with the use of On-line Databases
- Strong Interpersonal and Strong Customer Service
Skills
- Has and Maintains a Professional Demeanor and
Appearance
- Possess a Positive and Courteous Attitude towards All Persons
Encountered
- Ability to Attend Job and Database Training, Adhere to
Instructions, Learn, Maintain and Document Acquired Information For
Use As Needed
- Able and Available to Work Overtime as Needed
- Drug, Alcohol or any other Incapacitating Agents Free
- Minimum Education - High School Graduate or equivalent
- Preference will be given to candidates that have a current or
past federal/DHS/OPM background check or clearance.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Provide Routine Clerical And Administrative Duties Including
Answering Phones, Mail Processing, Scanning, Collating Packets and
Filing
- Greet and Check-In Applicants Applying For The Trusted Traveler
Program
- Schedule, Reschedule And Conduct Interviews
- Collect And Verify Information
- Complete Worksheets, Track History Data, Brief Members, Collect
Fees, Answer Questions/Inquiries from the Public, Assist with
Account Creation and Card Activation
- Verify Identity Of Applicant, And Confirm That Applicant Has
Required Documents To Complete Transactions
- Determine Customer Needs, Answer General Inquiries And
Concerns, And Ensure That The Check-In Process Is Performed in a
Timely Manner To Prevent a Back-Up Of Customers Awaiting
Assistance
- Maintain Accessible up to Date Written Information On Program
Requirements, Enrollment Process and Other Relevant Material to
Expeditiously Assist The General Public and Program Members Via
Phone or In-Person
- Process Applicants For The Trusted Travelers Program
- Notify The Government Inspection Staff Of Any Information Which
Could Adversely Affect a Person's Application For Acceptance Into
The Program. This Position Does Not Have The Authority To Make
Eligibility Decisions For An Applicant
- Check Applicant-Supplied Information by Accessing
Databases
- Perform Other Duties As Assigned
